Performance of cutting curves depends on a few things both in i-cut and the AXYZ operating system.
AXYZ:
There are settings for acceleration and centrifugal acceleration accessible from Tool Path. Altering these settings will greatly affect the performance of the system and might cause jerky movements. If you haven’t already done so, you should check these settings with AXYZ support to ensure they are within range for normal operation.
i-cut:
The Output Tolerance value – accessible from the System Options dialog – can greatly affect the geometry of the curves you are outputting to the machine. The default value is 0.0008 in – you should check your setting and make it the same if it is different.
Curve quality – you mentioned in your post that you have tried to create the curves several different ways and optimized in i-cut – if you could send one of the files to
support@icutvision.com we can take a look at it and let you know if we think the problem is related to the quality of the curves you are trying to produce.
