History of i-cut

The patented i-cut® Vision system began sales in 1996 under the name Mikkelsen Graphic Engineering, Inc. (MGE). Over 2,000 systems were sold in conjunction with digital cutting table sales and support. Now a part of EskoArtwork, the i-cut business unit was split away from the cutting table sales and service business in order to fully focus on software and materials automation for all digital cutters.

As a software developer, i-cut is continually integrating with the best digital cutting systems for all its varied customers' needs. Today, i-cut has partnerships with over 36 of the world's best RIP, Printer, Cutter, Router and Laser companies, providing the widest possible array of solutions for every customer need. Integrated into complete solutions from $15,000 to over $200,000, a solution is available to match any specific OEM’s materials, printing process and throughput needs.

i-cut, Inc. is located in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

i-cut enjoys sales throughout the world, successfully established a network of international OEMs, distributors and marketing partnerships with leading RIP and printer developers, and creating a strong and growing channel as well as complete workflow solutions from design through most wide-format RIPS to the printers and cutters.

It's not just accurate cutting anymore that helps our customer’s profitability, it's the continuous addition of workflow capabilities asked for by our rapidly expanding customer base of over 2,000 users that allows i-cut to build more and more workflow solutions, further increasing our customers' competitiveness. On short runs, workflow savings of 30% of total finishing time and reduction in waste is common when using an i-cut digital finishing solution.

i-cut prides itself on excellent customer service, technical support, and in providing the best possible solutions for its OEM customers and their –end-users alike.
